WHATS MY EXPERTISE?
As a seasoned real estate professional with over three decades of experience, I prioritize my clients and strive to provide them with the best possible service. My passion lies in coaching, training, and consulting, which brings me immense joy. Guiding agents and brokers towards success is a fulfilling experience for me.
Over the years, I have delved into every aspect of real estate to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry. My thirst for knowledge has propelled me to explore various areas within the field, such as marketing, sales, commercial, and property management, among others. As a result, I have acquired a wealth of experience and expertise in these areas, which I utilize to deliver exceptional results for my clients.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with some of the nation's top brands and agents in real estate, such as Coldwell Banker, Century 21, Weichert, Carmel Partners, Conam, and many local independent firms. Through training, consulting, mentoring, and coaching, I have been able to help thousands of agents, as well as franchise and independent brokerage firms, achieve their goals and thrive in the industry.
WHO AM I?
I come from a large and diverse family, which has enriched my life in countless ways. My family's heritage includes Portuguese immigrants (Lisbon), I am second generation Cape Verdean, African American and other cultural roots, making me part of a beautiful multi-cultural family. With ten siblings, I am the youngest, and this has given me the opportunity to develop a versatile personality, allowing me to take on challenges with ease. I grew up in our family home located in East Sacramento, California which is still home.
In addition to my family, I have a deep passion for architecture, design, real estate, running, art, music, horses, and traveling. My daughter has been an equestrian since she was two years old, and we share a love for horses that has only grown stronger over time. As a self-taught acrylic artist, I find painting to be a source of creative freedom that challenges me to be better. I also enjoy traveling, as it allows me to explore different cultures, customs, and ways of life. One of my Grandmothers was born in Hawaii and it holds a special place in my heart and I travel there as often as possible.
While I aspire to run a marathon one day, for now, I find peace in running 5Ks, which provides me with a mental space to reflect and recharge. These passions add richness and depth to my life, allowing me to approach my work in real estate with a well-rounded perspective and a desire to help my coaching and consulting clients build their dream businesses and my real estate clients find their desired property investments.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work in various real estate markets across the US, gaining valuable experience and insights into the industry. I have learned that each market has its unique challenges and opportunities, and it takes a certain level of adaptability and flexibility to succeed.
Currently, I spend most of my time in Charlotte, NC, which is situated near the stunning Lake Norman, often considered the second-best lake in the US after Lake Tahoe. Living in this beautiful waterfront location with my teenage daughter is a dream come true, and I feel fortunate to call it home. I currently hold multi-State real estate licenses in California and North Carolina
